Take part in the iconic annual "Casartelli" sportive on Sunday 6 September 2026, which starts and ends right in your basecamp hometown Saint Girons, as part of a minimum of 6 days' unforgettable fully supported road riding in the central Pyrenees (plus one more day ride if you choose to ride the gorgeous route from the airport!). In 2025 530 riders took part in this event, it's much less busy than most sportives, which makes it that much more intimate and unique! In the remaining days supported riding you will cover many of the cat 1/2/3/HC tour climbs in the central Pyrenees - see 'our climbs' page and sample the delights of the local French cuisine!

There are three different routes to choose from for the Casartelli Sportive: the "Marco" at 1409m/88km, the "Découverte" at 2297m/123km or the full "Casartelli" at 2935m/147km. You'll be riding with other well matched individuals (soon to become your new friends!) who have signed up to the specified ride challenge rating, meaning no one will be dramatically faster/slower, no long waits at the top, and the support van can remain close to everyone. Full support

Supercharge your self-guided cycling adventure with our all day, every day, pro-style van support: mechanical backup, clothing, fuel / hydration / picnics, recovery/return transport if needed, mixed-level group facilitation, adventure add-ons, first aid and emergency coordination.

Private Villa

Skip the sterile hotels…your luxury basecamp sleeps 15 in separable/combinable beds across 8 bedrooms. You’ll have exclusive use of the entire building and grounds including our private pool, gorgeous terrace and a dedicated 35m2 games room for a nice bit of après-vélo…

Transfers

Start and end your trip stress-free with our airport or train station transfers – including your bike-boxes. Step off the plane/train and straight into ride mode – you can even ride a beautiful 50km route to/from basecamp to maximise your training benefits.

Itinerary

We’ll work with you to create a personalised self-guided itinerary of your choice, matched precisely to your stated level and your training goals. We’ll provide GPX ride files with the best detailed route options based on our deep personal knowledge of the climbs in our sector.

Breakfast

We’ll stock up basecamp with your preferred breakfast staples, and bring you fresh “ride energy” from the best local boulangerie every morning to fuel those first climbs.
Lunches and dinners are flexible, and not included in our prices – we book great restaurants and caterers at your request.

Away day(s)

We’ll support at least one point A to point B day ride during your booking, unlocking a second tranche of epic climbs to the East or West. We’ll also organise any mixed-activity days you might like with reputable local providers.
